Electrical Resident Engineer

for an exciting data center development in

West London . This is a

freelance

position outside of

IR35 , offering great flexibility and the chance to work on a world-class project. Key Responsibilities: Manage the electrical installation works for the data center project, ensuring full compliance with design specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical-related matters on-site. Coordinate with electrical subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Oversee adherence to health and safety regulations, timelines, and budgets. Prepare and review electrical documentation, reports, and other project deliverables. Requirements: Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer; data center experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, UPS, backup systems, and more. Previous experience working as a Resident Engineer or in a similar role on large-scale construction projects. Familiarity with electrical design standards, industry regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (HNC/HND minimum). Relevant certifications (e.g., IET, CEng) would be advantageous. Why This Opportunity? Freelance role outside IR35
