MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

When the role holder is not out on site, they will be based in the assembly workshop and duties will include: Electrical assembly Electrical connections to process equipment Functional testing of completed processing equipment Inspection of process equipment post mechanical/electrical assembly Site Services and breakdown Liaise with clients in relation to site visits Carry out testing and commissioning of RA equipment throughout UK sites and occasionally European sites. Conduct planned maintenance of RA equipment throughout UK sites and occasionally European sites. Attend customer sites to diagnose and rectify equipment operating problems. Responsible for completing and maintaining service reports. Provide out of hours technical telephone support. It is envisaged that in the future customers will be offered the option of 24-hour call out breakdown cover. At that stage, this role holder will be expected to provide this service. PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Be electrically biased with some mechanical skills Have an electrical trade qualification Have a 17th/18th Edition qualification Have previous experience of working as a Service Engineer Be experienced with Control Panels Be experienced with inverters and PLC's Be familiar with HMI systems; all equipment our client manufactures has an HMI screen which is used to set up and operate equipment Have previous experience working on water sites (preferable) Have a healthy respect for health and safety Have a UK Driving License, and be happy to travel extensively with work Be comfortable working autonomously Be presentable and professional in a customer-facing role Be reliable and trustworthy Preferred not Essential: EUSR/Water Hygiene Card, Safety Passport This role is permanent, it comes with a company van. Standard hours are 39 per week, 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, 6am - 1pm Friday, however given the nature of this role, hours may differ to suit travel arrangements. All hours over 39 will be paid at time and one half. Some nights out in pre-paid accommodation will be necessary in this role. Key Competencies/Behaviours
