Are you an Electrically biased Shift Engineer with experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, or production looking for a new role based in Stonehouse, Gloucester?
Salary: GBP45-50k Location: Gloucester
You will be supporting site functions, which will include maintaining and repairing all site machinery and services, improving equipment reliability, and planned preventative maintenance. You will also support the production Team Leaders and Operators to improve performance and analyze OEE data to take corrective actions to enhance plant reliability.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an integrated Production operation to agreed health, safety, and quality engineering and technical standards. Optimize line performance to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators in equipment reliability and efficiency. Carry out planned maintenance activities and suggest improvements based on observations and history. Routinely analyze line performance data and take appropriate action to improve performance. Participate and lead continuous improvement and problem-solving activities to enhance performance. Develop systems to ensure the correct operation of equipment and facilities and improve methods to manage processes. Own part of the reliability program to improve the performance of allocated machines. Ensure appropriate information is captured on plant performance and maintenance activities to drive a predictive approach and prevent equipment failures. Conduct safety, quality, and GMP inspections/audits and recommend appropriate action. Coach team members to carry out asset care and condition monitoring tasks.
