Role Overview:

As an Electrical Shift Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and optimising industrial systems. This role demands a proactive individual who can lead a small team effectively, ensuring smooth operations and swift problem resolution. The position involves working 12-hour shifts, including weekends, in Stocksbridge.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a small team of engineers Maintain and troubleshoot various industrial systems, including hydraulic systems, pumps, drives, gearboxes, heavy machinery, water cooling systems, material handling systems, dust extraction systems, robotics, PLCs, vacuum systems, and AC & DC circuits Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure seamless operations Methodically fault find and rectify issues to their root cause Operate within permit systems and prioritise tasks based on resource availability

Essential Criteria:

A recognised engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent) Extensive knowledge and experience in plant engineering and industrial systems Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault finding Proven ability to lead and motivate a team Experience or knowledge of working under permit systems Customer-focused attitude with a keen understanding of prioritisation
