Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an Electrical Site Technician to begin work for a well-established company in the Deeside area.

About the Role: Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Pay Rate:

Competitive, dependent on experience

Responsibilities: Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment according to specifications and regulations. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical installations. Execute electrical wiring for lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Ensure all wiring meets safety standards and local regulations. Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Diagnose and rectify any electrical faults in a timely manner using testing equipment to identify problems and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation details and maintenance logs. Complete necessary documentation for compliance with health and safety regulations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site, including risk assessments and safe working practices. Ensure electrical work complies with the latest wiring regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671). Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure project completion on time and within budget. Participate in site meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues.

About You: High work ethic & team player Punctual & reliable You must be a time-served/qualified Electrical Technician ECS Card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme) preferred but not essential

Additional Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3) HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred) 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification Certification in inspection and testing (e.g., City & Guilds 2391) beneficial 2-5 years of relevant work experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or construction Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of site safety protocols
