Aqua-Tech are seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrical Supervisor to join our team on the beautiful island of North Uist. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and quality of electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work. You will lead a team of skilled electricians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management:

Plan, schedule, and supervise electrical installation and maintenance projects. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control. 2. Team Leadership:

Manage a team of electricians and support staff, providing guidance and technical expertise. Assign tasks and monitor performance, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge. 3. Technical Duties:

Inspect, test, and commission electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults. Oversee the procurement and management of materials and tools. Person Specification: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes: Qualifications and Training:

Structured and practical electrical engineering training, such as an apprenticeship or HNC. Qualified Electrical Engineer with the 18th Edition BS7671 certification. Full UK driving licence (essential). Experience and Knowledge:

Proven experience working with electrical and mechanical systems, including plant equipment, generators, compressors, and boat engines. Expertise in electrical systems, particularly on low-voltage (LV) systems. Strong background in mechanical plant and equipment maintenance. Sound understanding of BS7671 and IET Wiring Regulations. Knowledge of IT systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), with the ability to accurately record issues and workloads. Supervisory experience with a proven ability to effectively lead and manage a team. Awareness of environmental issues and a commitment to sustainable practices.
