£65,000-£75,000 DOE + Package Requirements
Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades. Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager. Conduct weekly toolbox talks. Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works. Attend daily/weekly meetings. Manage labour requirements in line with project program requirements. Maintain quality of the works to a high level. Ensure sub-contractors are working as efficiently as possible. Notify line manager of all variations and delays. Ensure all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications. Coordinate and store all delivered materials in a safe and secure manner. Review all sub-contractors' plant and access equipment to ensure it is certified and in good working condition. Compliance and Governance
Address health & safety issues on site and ensure that all sub-contractors are working in a safe manner. Review ways of working and implement changes to improve safety where possible. Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard by all sub-contractors. Complete weekly ‘don’t walk by’ cards. Skills & Experience
Relevant electrical trade certificate. Previous experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential. Data centre experience is advantageous. Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills. Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.
