Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm
Reporting Into – Engineering Manager
TecRec are currently searching for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to work across a mixed commercial portfolio in the Reading area. This role is with an engineering firm that are experts in facilities management, installing, maintaining, and maximizing technical systems within the built environment.
Our client was formed over 30 years ago and has developed into a thriving independent building services engineering provider with an outstanding reputation in the market.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established maintenance provider who invests time and training into their employees.
As a Mobile Electrical Engineer (2391), you will be responsible for providing planned & reactive maintenance and installations.
The ideal candidate will come from an install background and have experience in certification and signing off works.
Locations – Reading, Oxford & Newbury (NO London)
Managing logbooks.
Inspect, test, and certify works.
Responsible for ensuring effective diagnostics of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment.
Record and document all work carried out and raise appropriate documentation as quotes as required.
The ideal candidate must have good all-round building services knowledge.

NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installations
Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installations
18th edition
2391 Inspection & Testing – MUST
Well-presented, strong communication skills & client-facing.
The Package:
£42,000-£44,000 per annum (DOE)

26 days annual leave + bank holidays
