Tennial Personnel is seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our client’s team in Ipswich. This is a temporary-to-permanent position with a 12-week trial period, offering the potential for a long-term role with progression opportunities. The role involves testing electronic components and systems to ensure quality and functionality, diagnosing issues, and maintaining detailed reports.

Skills Required

Fault Finding:

Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair electronic components at the component level. Testing and Measurement:

Conduct detailed testing and measurement of equipment to verify performance specifications. Analyse test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Technical Understanding:

Demonstrate a strong understanding of electronic components, circuitry, and systems. Read and interpret schematic drawings accurately to facilitate effective troubleshooting. Customer Communication:

You will need to quote and communicate directly with customers, so good written and spoken English skills are essential to ensure clear, professional communication. Problem-Solving:

Apply strong analytical skills to efficiently resolve technical issues and identify areas for improvement. Address safety concerns as they arise. Team Collaboration:

Work effectively within a small team to complete tasks and support colleagues in achieving collective goals. Health and Safety Awareness:

Adhere to health and safety standards and comply with company policies and procedures. Adaptability:

Qualifications Required HNC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience in electronic repairs.
