We are looking for an Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer to join our Building Services team in Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield, Nottingham. You will work as part of a team to carry out Periodic Inspection and Testing of LV Electrical Systems as part of the ongoing site compliance programme at all 3 sites: King’s Mill Hospital, Mansfield Community Hospital, and Newark General Hospital. What you'll do: Undertake correctly and to a high standard the work associated with an inspection and testing programme both for fixed and mobile/portable equipment, ensuring compliance with the latest edition of the wiring regulations BS7671. Request remedial works or emergency isolations as and when required. Issue the appropriate completion certificates, to include Group 1 and 2 locations. Undertake annual thermal imaging of electrical distribution boards and systems and produce accurate reports. Undertake RCD testing across the sites. Produce legible, accurate, and concise reports. What you'll bring to the role: Good working knowledge of current electrical legislation, regulations, and standards and have a proven track record of working in a 24 hr operational environment. Recognised time served electrical apprenticeship in Contracting, Maintenance supported by the relevant qualification at the time.
