Electrical Wind Turbine Technician
to be based in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for: Service, maintenance, and repair of ENERCON wind turbines. Responsible for a variety of state of the art electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Fault finding and reporting on mechanical and electrical equipment. Adhering to site rules, policy, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Adhering to Wind Turbine Safety rule and guidelines, completing all the required documentation and reporting. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards. Responsible for completing all computerised documentation. Weekend emergency call out service and late shift work involved (Rotation).
Job Requirements You are a qualified Electrician or have completed a level 7 Electrical Engineering Degree. Living less than 30 minutes’ drive from base location. Good Level of personal fitness and able to pass a Working at Heights Medical (Chester step test). Full Irish B Driving Licence. Valid Safe Pass Card. Flexibility and high mobility required - willingness to travel to meet the companies' requirements.
