Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for an Electrical Working Supervisor for a leading Electrical company specialising in Industrial environments. The client are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor who can bring their expertise of electrical compliance and leadership skills, to a hands on, thriving manufacturing environment. The Electrical Working Supervisor will be overseeing and supervising electrical projects and maintenance works. The right candidate is expected to have a strong electrical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to solve complex electrical issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of electricians to ensure deadlines are met and quality is achieved. Provide guidance and direction to team members for successful project execution. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, safety measures, and address concerns. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment Inspect electrical components to identify issues and determine necessary repairs Test electrical systems and circuits to ensure proper functioning Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide effective solutions Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on job sites. Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to educate team members about best practices and potential hazards. Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members based on their expertise and workload. Arrange labour and materials to complete the project on time and within budget Quoting small works as required and supporting contract manager on larger quotes Working closely with contract manager to ensure RAM s are created for each job PERSON SPECIFICATION Level 3 C&G Qualified 2391 Test & Inspection qualified Proven experience as an electrician or electrical supervisor. Strong leadership and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Driving licence essential Ability to update inhouse computer systems PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in various physical situations and be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials. Comfortable working in various environments, including exposure to heights and confined spaces.
