Duties of this multi-skilled maintenance engineer's role: To provide an electrical engineering service to the production team and achieve minimum downtime. Proactive response in carrying out preventative maintenance duties. Ensuring you are commercially aware of budget and that there is the right amount of spares. Look at ways you can continuously improve efficiency and downtime. To encourage, motivate, and inspire apprentices and trainees. Maintaining a safe working environment and highlighting any safety concerns. Qualifications and personality requirements of a multi-skilled engineer: You must hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship (NVQ, BTEC, or C&G). Multi-skilled experience is desirable. 70/30 electrical bias is preferred. Experience of Siemens S7 and ELAU controls is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. Benefits of this Maintenance Engineer role: A base salary of GBP47,653.13 per annum, plus the opportunity for paid overtime.
