Are you an electrically biased maintenance engineer looking for a new role? Working in this heavily industrial manufacturing business, you will be responsible for all proactive and reactive maintenance. Working as part of a small close-knit team, you will need to be proactive with your approach to fit in well. Based on the outskirts of Lancaster with easy access to the M6, the role offers a 2 day, 2 night, 4 off shift pattern, offering a great work-life balance.

Duties of this multi-skilled maintenance engineer's role: To provide an electrical engineering service to the production team and achieve minimum downtime. Proactive response in carrying out preventative maintenance duties. Ensuring you are commercially aware of budget and that there is the right amount of spares. Look at ways you can continuously improve efficiency and downtime. To encourage, motivate, and inspire apprentices and trainees. Maintaining a safe working environment and highlighting any safety concerns. Qualifications and personality requirements of a multi-skilled engineer: You must hold a recognised engineering apprenticeship (NVQ, BTEC, or C&G). Multi-skilled experience is desirable. 70/30 electrical bias is preferred. Experience of Siemens S7 and ELAU controls is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. Benefits of this Maintenance Engineer role: A base salary of GBP47,653.13 per annum, plus the opportunity for paid overtime. A holiday allowance of 21 shifts, inclusive of bank holidays, with incremental increases linked to service length. Access to a company pension scheme and complimentary onsite parking.
