£20.85 - £22.60 Per Hour, Depending on Experience. Plus, additional enhancements.
About The Company: They are a specialist electrical/mechanical contractor to the electrical supply industry and other large consumers of electricity. The company specialises in repair and refurbishment of power transformers and associated high voltage plant.
The Role: Time served electrician required to supervise/work in small multi-skilled teams working within high voltage substations throughout the UK. General electrical duties will also be required including:
Installation and terminating of multi-core cabling Tray work and panel wiring Ensuring all paperwork is adhered to and completed correctly Ensuring all work is carried out to the required standard
Additional Information: Most works will be working away from home with occasional weekend and bank holiday working required. Transport and lodging allowance/expenses are given.
Candidate Requirement: * Must be a time-served electrician with all relevant qualifications * A good overall trade knowledge and technical competence is essential * Although not essential, experience of working on power transformers or within HV substations would be beneficial.
Pay will be competitive and based on experience. Necessary training will be provided, and the successful applicant will be expected to carry out authorisation training for various electricity companies throughout the UK.
