The Company Our client is an electrical installation company based in Manchester and is well established in the energy reduction sector, having a range of energy reduction technologies including Voltage Optimisation (VO) and Power Correction (PC) equipment. This is a new and exciting opportunity for a qualified, time-served electrician to join a long-established and fast-growing business within the sustainable energy sector, a sector which is constantly evolving and is a fundamental part of the world in which we now live. The Role Initially, you will be working alongside an experienced VO Installation Engineer. You will receive first-class industry-specific training. You will receive manufacturer training. Installing Voltage Optimisation and Power Correction equipment at commercial and industrial premises around the UK. There will be scope for progression in the role for the right enthusiastic candidate. Electrician Experience and Qualifications Fully qualified as an electrician. Experience in a commercial/industrial environment. Keen and enthusiastic, willing to learn and progress. Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a commercial/industrial electrician. Level 3 electrotechnical apprenticeship or equivalent. Electrical Installations BS 7671 (18th Edition). Inspection and Testing (preferred). Right to work in the UK; no dependants or student visas accepted. Must be able to communicate fluently. Experience with voltage optimisation or power correction is not required, as training will be given; however, having this or an understanding of VO would be an advantage.
