Monday –Friday, 40 hours / week, 8.00am and 5.00pm. Job Purpose

To carry out Electrical T&I, Installation works, Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive repairs, and site cover as required. Key Accountabilities

Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices. Identify any defects found to the Line Manager and provide a parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works. Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by the administration team. Always maintain the professional image of FIFM. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all FIFM employees and clients’ representatives. Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment. Accountabilities

The post holder does not have any directly reporting staff. This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility. Person Specification

Education :

A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills. Recognised technical qualifications. Training :

Recognised electrical qualifications. City and Guilds- 2391-52 Inspection and testing. City and Guilds 18th edition. EAL Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment. IPAF. PASMA. Health and Safety. Working at height. First Aid. Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes. Installation/maintenance of electrical services. Electrical Testing to BS7671. Fault finding on electrical circuits. Experience of general Building Management Systems. Knowledge of lone working requirements. Use of CAFM Apps. Good verbal communication skills at all levels. Able to acquire and maintain sufficient knowledge of a building’s operation and services. Able to work outside of the main discipline. Character:

Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service. The ability to liaise directly with client FM managers and action their requirements to agreed standards. Able to work under pressure. Able to make sound decisions when needed. Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg. Able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment. Able to work at height. A team player. Circumstances:

Must be flexible regarding working hours. Must be able to drive considerable distances using a company vehicle. Must be able to occasionally stay away from home.
