Perform routine maintenance on a variety of hire equipment specific to the tunnelling industry, including conducting in-house testing, executing repairs, constructing new and updated machinery, and providing occasional on-site support. Undertake upkeep of company facilities, encompassing workshops and office spaces. Implement scheduled preventative maintenance programs for plant and equipment to prevent downtime. Provide prompt and efficient reactive maintenance and repair work as necessary. Manage the installation processes for tunnelling and associated plant equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
An ECS gold card in maintenance or installation is highly preferred. Candidates ready to obtain an ECS card immediately will be considered if they possess significant experience in machinery maintenance and motor control systems. Possession of a Safety Critical Medical certificate is an asset. A solid background in the 18th edition is mandatory, coupled with relevant experience. Demonstrated knowledge and consciousness of health and safety regulations. Proficiency in handling 3-phase systems, including familiarity with motor controls like star-delta starters, soft starters, and inverters.
