Electrician Covering domestic properties across RAF Lakenheath (IP27 9PP), RAF Feltwell, and RAF Mildenhall, Brandon, Suffolk. 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with an on-call rota of 1 week in 5 (including standby fee and on-call payments). We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks on domestic and commercial properties at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell. Working as part of a team of 8 electricians, your main responsibility will involve conducting five-year fixed wire inspections, primarily on MoD family housing. This ensures the electrical systems are safe and compliant with legislation. Additional tasks include responding to call-outs for minor new works and installations (e.g., plug sockets), as well as performing emergency lighting checks and distribution board inspections. As this role involves working in domestic properties, you will interact with occupants regularly, making previous experience in customer-facing roles advantageous. This role also includes participation in an on-call rota to manage emergency call-outs during non-core hours. A work van will be provided, which can be privately taxed for personal use. They will be committed to supporting your development through training courses and upskilling opportunities to enhance your experience and qualifications. Essential Qualifications:

City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation City & Guilds 18th Edition Experience conducting fixed wire tests in domestic properties Desirable Qualifications:

Experience conducting fixed wire inspections in commercial properties Familiarity with MoD or construction/property maintenance environments Other Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence (a company van will be provided for business use) Ability to work independently and self-motivate, as this role involves lone working Strong communication skills for customer interactions Must be able to pass BPSS clearance Offer:
