Day Shift Role . Job Description
As a PSV Electrician, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency). As a team, we are dedicated to working towards delivering a safe, reliable, clean, and efficient service to meet the needs of our customers. Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition. Full-Time Permanent Employment with Overtime available Hourly rate: £24.77 / Weekly pay: £941.09 Tuesday - Saturday day shifts Ongoing training provided – High Voltage/EV training, roadside assistance, IRTEC accreditation & diagnostics training Free travel on TFL operated transport links (Bus/Underground/London Overground/DLR/Tramlink) for you and a nominee Free bus travel for you and a nominated member of your family residing within the same household We will train you and upgrade your licence to drive a bus! Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability Auto (PSV) electrics and electric fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks Shift Structure:
Day shift: Tuesday - Saturday Requirements:
Electrical circuits and systems knowledge Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 2 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation) If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with at least 5 years’ experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGV Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical APPLY NOW
