HMP Northumberland . Your role is pivotal in maintaining the prison's essential infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities include the installation, testing, examination, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within the prison.

is large and varied, with buildings of various ages and uses, including residential house blocks, kitchens, classrooms, workshops, offices, and security equipment. This means that no day ever looks the same, and you will be regularly engaged with new and exciting challenges. The Ideal Candidate Successful completion of a recognised electrician qualification. Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship or equivalent experience working as an electrician. Understanding of I.E.E. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Ability to collaborate within a team or as an individual where required. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment. Problem-solving capabilities to address challenges and obstacles effectively. Able to handle pressure while maintaining a positive outlook.
