The role involves installation, maintenance, fault finding, and comprehensive testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance. Works between Southampton and Portsmouth with the odd stay away. Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, lighting, and controls in commercial and industrial settings. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine electrical system layouts. Ensure work complies with electrical codes and safety standards. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using testing devices and equipment. Serve commercial and industrial sectors, including schools and department stores, primarily between Southampton and Portsmouth with occasional travel.
