We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician in the Oxford area to join one of our market-leading teams, working with a housing association to deliver high-quality responsive maintenance services. You will play a key role in ensuring electrical safety, diagnosing and repairing faults, and providing exceptional service to tenants.

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 plus On call

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and fault finding in occupied and void properties. Ensure all work complies with current regulations, including BS 7671 and other statutory requirements. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruption to tenants. Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and issue relevant certification. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment. Liaise with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure clear communication and efficient service delivery. Qualifications and Experience:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Inspection and Testing Qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395). Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within social housing or domestic settings. Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and building regulations. Full UK driving license. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong communication and customer service skills, with a tenant-focused approach. High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. A friendly and professional attitude, with a focus on tenant satisfaction. Benefits:
