Skilled Electrician
required for our client, a large leading and award-winning Civil Engineering and tunnelling company with sites across the UK.
The successful Electrician will be based from our client's workshop base, just outside Wellingborough, and will be completing electrical maintenance on tunnelling and ventilation equipment such as ventilation fans, dust extraction units, and grouting equipment. Previous experience completing works on electrical control systems within a maintenance environment will be ideal for this position, and any experience working on mechanical ventilation systems is desirable, but not essential.
Skilled Electrician Position Responsibilities Day-to-day maintenance works on a range of tunnelling ventilation equipment, along with other equipment related to the civil engineering sector Performing routine testing of electrical equipment Assisting with the planning of maintenance schedules across the workshop Skilled Electrician Position Requirements Strong technical background within the electrical maintenance industry, ideally from an industrial, civil engineering, or manufacturing setting ECS Gold Card - minimum (ESSENTIAL) 2391 Test & Inspection qualification, or equivalent Based within a commutable distance of Wellingborough/Rushden area Skilled Electrician Position Remuneration Salary 40,000 - 60,000 (negotiable depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 7am - 5:30pm (paid lunch) Overtime paid at 1.5x for anything over 8 hours in a day 31 days holiday, including bank holidays Life insurance paid at 4x salary Pension, 5% company and 4% contribution
