You will join a team with the primary objective to work closely with customers to develop, test and optimise the performance of their Electrified Powertrain for future vehicle programs. Furthermore, you will be expected to take ownership for planning and executing test work primarily on developmental rigs, providing clear and concise data analysis and reporting/recommendations to customer teams (focused but not limited to EDU, Electric Motor, Power Electronics).

What You Will Do:

Lead the testing campaign from requirement definition to Data Analysis and Reporting. Define the testing requirements (technical and timing) with the Subject Matter Expert. Supervise the testing facility setup, ensuring Rig and Unit Under Test fulfil requirements. Provide on-site support at customer or other facilities as needed to ensure successful delivery of the testing campaign. Conduct timely data processing and analysis to inform engineering decisions. Offer technical direction to test facilities and other stakeholders, ensuring any issues are formally logged and addressed.

What You Will Bring:

A minimum of 2:1 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or a related engineering field. Relevant professional experience in powertrain development or testing. Knowledge and experience with Electric Drive Units and batteries. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make clear technical recommendations. A self-starter attitude with the flexibility to adapt to different commodities.
