About this position:
My client is the world's largest privately owned and independent company for the development of powertrain systems, E-mobility applications, and instrumentation and test systems. They are looking for an Electrified Powertrain Development Engineer to work with their customers to develop, test and optimise the performance of their Electrified Powertrain for future vehicle programs.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the testing campaign from requirement definition to Data Analysis and Reporting Definition of the testing requirement (technical and timing) with the Subject Matter Expert Supervision of the testing facility set up, to ensure Rig and Unit Under Test fulfill requirement (BoM creation) On site support at customer or other facilities as appropriate to monitor and ensure good delivery of the testing campaign Timely data processing and data analysis that will be used to make engineering decisions Daily summary updates on project and testing status to all project stakeholders Responsibility to ensure any issues have been formally logged on and assigned Technical direction to test facilities & other stakeholders
Experience Required:
Minimum of 2:1 Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering area (Mechanical, Automotive, etc) Relevant professional experience in powertrain development or testing Electric Drive Unit and battery experience/knowledge
