Our client works within the events industry and they are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the entertainment industry and specific knowledge or qualifications in electro-mechanical equipment to work with cutting-edge equipment, develop your technical skills, and contribute to high-profile events. The ideal candidate will bring prior industry experience, whether through hands-on work or formal training, and a desire to grow within a dynamic operational team. Key Responsibilities Equipment Knowledge and Preparation: Develop in-depth knowledge of Versa Stage equipment, particularly electro-mechanical products. Interpret job requirements from drawings and pull sheets to ensure accurate supply and return of equipment. Pull, prepare, and maintain electro-mechanical equipment for upcoming jobs. Operational Support: Assist with checking equipment in and out using the inventory booking system. Collaborate with the operational team to ensure smooth workflows and accurate equipment preparation. On-Site Readiness: Work towards gaining the skills and knowledge to prepare and set up equipment on-site, with potential opportunities to work at events. Be available to drive company vehicles for equipment deliveries, collections, or on-site supply as required. Team Contribution: Support operational excellence by maintaining high standards in equipment handling and preparation. Engage proactively in all aspects of the equipment supply chain, from warehouse to event site. Candidate Requirements Previous experience working at events or in the entertainment industry, with a minimum qualification equivalent to A-Level or higher. Familiarity with electro-mechanical equipment through hands-on work and relevant electrical qualifications. Additional hands-on skills such as welding, carpentry, or fabrication are highly desirable. Adaptability to work in varied environments, including office, warehouse, and on-site locations. Strong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong understanding of IT systems, particularly inventory control systems. Full driving license (required for driving company vehicles). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or travel away from home when needed. Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach to work. Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and a commitment to high standards in all tasks.
