Excellent opportunity for an experienced Electro Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established company based in Cullompton.

Salary:

£38,000 - £42,000 per annum

On Call Payments:

£220 per week, weekend call outs paid at 1.5 x hourly rate

Location:

Cullompton. You will be required to undertake maintenance works at other company sites.

Hours:

08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. Out of hours rota to cover weekday evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Job Description Job Purpose:

To provide a complete and first-class maintenance service to all the company's operations by: Working collaboratively with the Central Maintenance Team to ensure the continuous operation of equipment and machinery. Understanding the priority and contributing to biomass fuelled boiler maintenance and steam optimisation. Assisting and proactively engaging with all reactive and planned electrical and mechanical maintenance. Assisting with strategic planning and design works that maximise the performance and lifespan of assets.

Duties and Responsibilities Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations by: Assisting and proactively engaging with all planned electrical and mechanical maintenance. Prompt undertaking of reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance. Effective and efficient planning of all works. Fault finding and diagnostics. Liaising with Key Stakeholders to recognise and mitigate risks or issues. Utilising Asset Management and Maintenance Software (Fiix). Adhering to procurement procedures and budgets. Adhering to operational SOPs and Health and Safety procedures.

Person Specification Significant electro mechanical engineering experience. Fabrication and welding competent. Passion for engineering. Ability to problem solve and fault find. Positive 'can-do' attitude. Proactive, flexible, and adaptable. Ability to manage workload and conflicting priorities.
