Job Title: Electronic Design Engineer
Location: Poole
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
About the Company:
Our client, a renowned maritime manufacturer, is recruiting for a Electronics Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
About the Role:
This role will be responsible for the development of electronic and electrical design and to provide your input and techincal skills towards the team and business.
Responsibilities:
- Developement of electronic design and the full deveoplment lifecycle from compliance to customer requirements through to design and certification.
- Working closely with the engineering teams to improve processes and liasing with customers.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics engineering or similar
- Minimum of 6 years indsutry experience as an Electronic Design Engineer
- Analogue and Digital circuit design
- PCB design - Altium Designer
- Knowledge of product safety and compliance
- Expereince using microcontrollers
- Knowledge of product development
- Experience of undertaking design, safety and process FMEA.
Previous experience in aerospace, defence or maritime or a similar industry is a preferred but not essential.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
