Our client, a technology-focused manufacturing business near Wakefield, seeks to appoint an Electronic Design Engineer to their technical team. As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will work in a fast-paced but friendly environment on some of the most interesting and positively challenging projects on the market. It really is exciting work. You will be designing hardware and occasionally some very basic embedded software for a range of products used by some of the world's largest companies as a lead participant in designing, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting innovative designs to deliver a first-class product on time and budget.

Role and Responsibilities

Understand requirements and discuss project sizes and time frames, as well as defining processes and procedures for projects. Defining and documenting software and hardware architecture. Supporting fault isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities during system integration and validation testing.

Skills and Abilities

Relevant degree in associated discipline such as Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. Highly experienced in electronics design. Experience with PIC Microprocessors.
