We are seeking a dedicated Electronic / Electrical Field and Support Engineer to join our Engineering client based in Norfolk, where you will be integral to delivering exceptional engineering support and fostering strong customer relationships. This role involves working closely with global customer base and engineering development teams, focusing on system integrations, lab and field testing, and customer validation of our innovative electric solutions. This role will require extensive travel to USA & India, every 1-3 months. Therefore we're looking for an Engineer that is flexible to this and loves to travel. Key Responsibilities: Customer Support: Provide high-quality assistance with all pre-production and post-production inquiries on-site, ensuring customer satisfaction. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to motors and drive systems, offering effective solutions to meet customer needs. Collaboration: Work alongside the engineering team to develop and implement plans, ensuring project deadlines and delivery targets are met. Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term partnerships with customers through proactive communication and support. Feedback Loop: Deliver real-time, formal feedback to engineering colleagues regarding field service operations and task outcomes to drive continuous improvement. Documentation: Maintain accurate and updated records of progress against plans and processes. Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment in line with HSE principles. Global Travel: Be prepared to travel across the UK and internationally to meet customer support needs. Team Environment: Collaborate within a team setting and work in various territories to fulfill customer support requirements. Technical Support: Engage in a range of tasks, including design support, integration, assembly, and testing activities. Perform electronic-based tasks such as soldering, wiring, PCB build, and adjustments. Qualifications & Experience: Relevant engineering qualifications in a key discipline, or proven experience in a similar field. Strong background in engineering or manufacturing, with a demonstrable track record of successful project delivery and personal performance.
