Electronic Engineer Permanent - Full-Time Devizes Salary is dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electronics Engineer with expertise in fault finding and repair to join our client based in Devizes. Key Responsibilities Fault Finding:

Analyse and understand the functionality of existing electronic and electromechanical devices to diagnose issues and develop repair strategies. To be able to do so without circuit diagrams would be hugely beneficial. Component-Level Repair:

Perform detailed repairs of electronic units, ensuring restoration to full functionality. Soldering:

Highly competent use of soldering equipment, working with surface mount and through hole technologies. Circuit Diagram Interpretation:

Read and interpret complex circuit diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and repairs. Test Equipment Proficiency:

Utilise multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other test equipment to diagnose faults and verify repairs. Multitasking:

Manage multiple repair tasks efficiently, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes. Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing of repaired devices to ensure reliability and performance standards are met. Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of repair procedures, including diagnostics and parts used. Continuous Learning:

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electronic repair. Qualifications HNC/HND in electronic engineering, or related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting circuit diagrams. Hands-on experience with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other relevant test equipment. Strong understanding of electronic components and systems. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Good communication skills for documenting procedures and collaborating with team members. Friendly with an ability to work autonomously.
