Senior Electronics Engineer - Custom Power Supply Design and Development
Our client's business unit is a leading manufacturer and developer of custom power supply solutions, encompassing a wide range of power supply applications covering AC/DC, DC/DC, and TRs, in addition to a range of other related products.
The role is responsible for project scoping and applications specification, design, testing, and design for manufacture. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the organization going forward, reporting to and deputizing for the Technical Director.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering, dedicated to their own learning and development, and will be both a technical engineer and an avid team player. They should be able to work with customers and colleagues alike, preferably with the potential to mentor and develop some of the more junior engineers.
The specialisms sought include:
Power supply design
PCB design
Knowledge of analogue electronics
Experience with design and simulation tools such as SPICE and CAD
The company has a clear development plan in mind for the person coming into this role, which will be explained at the interview.
