gas solutions. WIKA Instruments in Sevenoaks provide pressure, temperature, level, flow, force and related calibration instruments. Our facility includes an engineering services department with repair, modification and calibration capability as well as incorporating the TC Fluid Control, level manufacturing capability and our ATEX approved electrical temperature manufacturing line. Your Duties: Be responsible for the day-to-day design, development and manufacture of electronic products, supporting the production team, ensuring technical compliance to standard and customer requirements for in-house manufactured product. Ensure IOM's, supporting documentation, works instructions & certification are always correct & current. Generate documentation & review finished products to ensure compliance with ATEX. Provide technical support to internal/external sales, production and customers (occasional site visits may be required). When required provide hands-on help with manufacturing of Level transmitters which includes setting up, final calibration, fault finding & producing final calibration reports. Work with suppliers, notified bodies & attend audits with QA dept. to ensure the continuing compliance of certified products and liaises with auditors during approval audits. Identify & help implement opportunities for improvements to production of Electronic products manufactured at Sevenoaks whether new or existing & reduce costs where possible. Assist with R&D projects & existing product support either internally or within the WIKA Group (occasional visits outside the UK may be required). Investigate & assist on any non-conformities during production. Log accordingly & put correct actions in place to prevent re-occurrence when possible. Managing component redundancy to ensure continued approval & operation of products manufactured. Along with QA ensure correct and latest standards & procedures for manufacture of certified products are being adhered to. For suppliers of electrical components & finished product to WIKA UK provide technical support to the QA department for audits (occasional travel may be required). Your Profile: Minimum of 3 years electronics design experience. Degree in electronics engineering (or similar). Hands on electronics manufacturing experience. Formal training received through an apprenticeship / HNC / HND in electronics, electrical or manufacturing engineering. Compliance knowledge and experience. Knowledge of UKCA, ATEX & PED preferred.
