Technical Support Engineers, Project Engineers, Design Team, Graduate Electrical Engineers, Remote Systems Engineers, Workshop Technicians, Field Teams. Main Responsibilities

The main role of the Electronics Engineer shall include: Main Responsibilities: General Perform detailed engineering of electrical and electronic systems in support of STATS product line at component and system level. Provide technical support and assurance to all of STATS regional entities as required. Support the product qualification and certification requirements. Assist with the development of new systems and technology. Manage all aspects of development project work and ensure that the work delivered adheres to company quality procedures, international codes, client requirements and specifications. Support and mentor new team members and graduate engineers with their learning and development. Advise in the Design, Development, Certification, Manufacture and Safe Operation of equipment. Technical Support for Projects NC&I support. Field Support/On Call. Battery Calculations, Noise Survey Analysis, System Configuration Sheets. Attend design/operations meetings. Review of technical specifications. Creation, Revision, Development, Standardisation. Product Development Input to, and review of, product development activities. Support the preventative maintenance programme for electrical/electronic components and systems. Design Support. Support Product Certification. Product design and development of systems, sub systems and ancillaries. Team Support and mentor new staff and graduate engineers. Collaborate with the Technical Support and Operations teams to further enhance and develop the product and associated processes. Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities

To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times. Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete. Ensure all work is completed in line with company and project quality procedures and processes. Internal Training Requirements

Environmental Awareness STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level Qualifications

BSc / BEng or equivalent in applicable engineering subjects. Alternatively, extensive experience (3 years or more) in a similar role. Minimum 3 years experience of relevant industry experience. Relevant Oil & Gas industry experience or similar engineering industry experience (preferred). Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge

Technical Electrical and Electronic component and system design. PCB Design and Commissioning. System Engineering and Testing. Fault diagnostic experience. Strong technical writing skills – Test procedures and checksheets. Controls & Instrumentation. Microprocessor based monitoring and control applications. Software Specification & Testing. Knowledge of micro-hydraulic or hydraulic systems an advantage. Commercial Awareness and appreciation of market trends and emerging technologies relevant to STATS services, project or product developments. Behavioral Flexible and knowledgeable to work across disciplines and share ideas. Methodical at problem solving. Ability to manage work packages (sub modules/systems). Good communications skills. Ability to estimate, forecast, plan and execute to agreed plans. Ability to use past experience and technical knowledge to achieve solutions to complex engineering problems to agreed timescales. Ability to work and interface with others in a cross functional environment. Other IT skills – MS office – Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project/AutoCAD/Inventor. Microsoft AX12 experience. CAD packages. Personal Qualities

Highly motivated, enthusiastic, team player, but be able to work using own initiative. Ability to prioritise and manage workload. Excellent organisational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Efficient workflow management. Additional Note
