As Electronics Engineer, you will be designing and developing electronics of PRISMIC controllers/systems. Key skills required for this role: You will also work with a cross-functional engineering team and product manager to undertake a wide range of tasks, including PCB design, microcontroller selection, electronic component level obsolescence, and lifecycle management. Responsibilities: Designing and developing PRISMIC excitation controllers (including rectifiers and electronic design). Supporting new design, upgrading, and optimizing power management system electronics, including I/O modules, controllers, watchdogs, and monitoring systems. Selecting microcontrollers that satisfy product requirements, considering factors like processing power, memory, compatibility, lifecycle, and compliance. Designing, configuring, and testing communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, CAN, IEC60870-5-104, IEC61850, NTP, Syslog, etc., based on product requirements. Developing, prototyping, and overseeing PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design, layout, and assembly for electronic components, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, EMC, and reliability as part of development/program management. Proactively identifying components or technologies approaching obsolescence and developing strategies for component replacement or redesign to ensure the longevity of our PRISMIC components. Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and repairing functional units from site/under test. Developing testing protocols and performing rigorous testing and validation of electronics and system components to ensure compatibility with the entire control system, satisfying performance, environmental, and reliability standards. Creating clear and comprehensive design documentation, including interface specifications, style guides, and user documentation. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, control engineers, and system engineers, to deliver integrated solutions. Please note:
