We are looking for an experienced

Electronics Engineer

for an established organisation in Poole. The successful Electronics Engineer will be producing electronic and electrical designs for a range of products, to meet the needs of specific projects. The ideal candidate will be an engineer who is looking for variety within a role, can work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that products are designed and delivered according to the project scope. ELECTRONICS ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES: Taking functional requirements for hardware, assessing potential solutions and producing the most efficient design to meet the needs of the project, whilst ensuring that all interactions with software and hardware are considered. Working closely with internal departments to deliver projects to specific requirements. Conduct calculations and/or simulations to prove design functionality prior to prototype build. Work with

CAD

software to produce schematics and PCB layouts. Write hardware specifications detailing functionality and interfaces. Produce manufacturing data to enable efficient production of the design. Prepare test documentation for both validation and functional testing. Communicate changes/new findings in design review and progress meetings, working closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure that the design process is followed through from concept to production and progress is tracked and monitored. Stay informed on the latest technologies relevant to the company’s products. Ensure the company’s Quality Management System is kept up to date with all matters relating to Electronics and Electrical Engineering. KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: HND or higher qualification in Electronics – essential Experience of working in a similar Engineering design/electronics engineering role within a similar organisation is essential. Confidence to lead/work as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to work independently, with little supervision.
