Electronics Engineer
Location: Stirlingshire (Scotland)
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
Office based with up to 1 day per week remote working
Company Overview & Job Title: A successfully award-winning global leading engineering company based in Stirlingshire (Scotland) specializing in the Medical Technology Industry is seeking to hire a brand new Electronics Engineer to join their thriving business and dynamic team. This role is ideal for both an Electronics Engineer or Mid-Level Electronics Engineer.
The Role: The successful Electronics Engineer will join an innovative multi-disciplined engineering team and will have support from the Senior Electronics & Principal Hardware Engineer, working across the entire product design lifecycle. The Electronics Engineer will have the opportunity to design and manufacture cutting-edge medical devices that make a significant positive impact on the world, including Medical Device Design & Development, Electronics Design, and Design Validation & Verification.
Key Skills: • Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar • Minimum of 2-3 years industry experience • Electronics Circuit Design (Analogue & Digital) • PCB Design & Schematic Capture • Skilled in Altium Designer or similar • Experience of FPGA Firmware Design using VHDL • Proficient user of electronics Test & Measurement equipment • Experience in creating detailed specifications, test plans, and technical reports • Proactive, strong leadership skills, good teamwork and communication skills
Desirable Skills: • EMC & EMI testing • Experience within the medical devices sector or a similar highly-regulated industry • Proficient in electronics circuit simulation (SPICE, Power Distribution, High Speed Signal Integrity).
