My client works within the design and manufacture of electronics products across a wide range of sectors, and they are looking to take on an Electronics Engineer on a permanent basis in the Northamptonshire area.
The Electronics Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Degree / HNC/ HND qualification in Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or similar, or be qualified by experience Good knowledge of both electronics hardware and mechanical design Excellent skills with schematic design and PCB layout Ideally proficient with Altium and SolidWorks CAD software - but training could be provided if you have had experience with another software Industry experience working in a similar electro-mechanical role with skills to transfer Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team Excellent communication and time management skills Any project engineering skills would also be desirable Ideally a full UK Driving Licence
The Electronics Engineer role will involve:
Working as part of the company's multi-disciplinary engineering team Design and development of the company's electro-mechanical components and systems using both SolidWorks and Altium Schematic design and PCB layout Testing prototypes to ensure reliability and to validate design concepts Working on system integration Ensuring that designs comply with quality and industry standards Managing projects from concept through to completion Creating all relevant documentation Analysing electro-mechanical systems The opportunity for personal development
