40 hours per week starting between 7am and 9am and finishing between 3.30pm and 5.30pm Monday to Friday 23 days holiday rising with service, free parking available, private medical and other benefits We are recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to join a leading global manufacturing company operating in the electrical / electronics sector. You will be based from the Lewes office but will be attending various customer sites around the UK for installations, repairs and surveys, so a full clean UK driving licence is essential. Other activities include: Answering technical questions and issues from customers via email, phone, and Teams Configuring equipment ready for installation Preparing customer media using bespoke software Supporting other departments internally Working on several projects at any one time and involved in several aspects of projects Projects range from physically installing equipment onto vehicles, configuring DHCP servers, creating media templates for customers, assisting repairs, and production with issues. You will be provided with a company van with fuel card, tools, laptop, mobile phone, and any required software. Minimum Requirements:

You will need: Experience carrying out repairs on electrical and electronic devices including soldering, cable repairs, and Molex crimping Knowledge and use of serial communication standards and protocols Knowledge or experience with Linux Experience of electrical and electronic system design Previous experience in a technical support role dealing directly with the customer A full UK driving license or equivalent A valid passport and able to travel globally as required Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
