The Electronic Test Engineer's primary role is to provide manufacturing test hardware support for PCBA's, sub-assemblies, modules, and final assemblies. This role also involves the support of existing manufacturing test equipment as well as the design and production of new test solutions.

Working with a cross-functional team of engineers, suppliers, and customers, this position requires excellent communication skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.

You must be proficient at providing appropriate documentation such as detailed test specifications and work instructions.

Experience/Skills Required:

3-5 years in a similar manufacturing test engineering role & experience of electronic test and automated test systems. Must have excellent IT productivity tool knowledge (MS Office tools, Excel, Word, etc.). Demonstrable understanding of electronic principles. Experience of debugging electronic circuits down to component level. Core coding skills (i.e. Python, XML, C#, C++). Able to demonstrate an ability for problem solving. Proficient data analysis skills. Experience of electronics CAD systems is essential and Mechanical CAD is desirable. Lean and Six Sigma training is desirable.

The role is based on-site in Bolton. You must be able to drive to get to the site in Bolton. 5-day week - Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
