Your Role: We have an exciting Environmental Monitoring Associate Scientist 1 role at our Glasgow site. The Quality Control Environmental Monitoring (QC EM) Associate reports to the Quality Supervisor. In this role, you will carry out assigned tasks competently and undertake any other reasonable duties assigned by Quality Management. You will support the environmental monitoring program for manufacturing areas, ensuring the facility remains under environmental control. Your responsibilities will include performing environmental monitoring activities to meet regulatory requirements for microbial isolate levels, ensuring the facility is suitable for GMP manufacturing use, and maintaining the QC EM laboratory through housekeeping activities, equipment maintenance, and stock control.

Key Responsibilities: Carrying out duties in accordance with GMP and GDocP requirements. Preparing materials for use within the manufacturing facility. Performing environmental monitoring (EM) within the manufacturing facility. Communicating effectively with manufacturing and Quality Assurance teams.

Who You Are: Minimum HNC or equivalent in Biological Science. Strong communication skills. Laboratory experience is preferable. Experience with quality-driven systems and working in a regulated environment is advantageous.
