The Role:

M&G is committed to enhancing our digital channels to engage with our customers and advisers. We’re seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Email Marketing Automation Executive in our evolving and collaborative digital marketing team. They should have a passion for email marketing and marketing automation and be ready to help increase the adoption of powerful email communication strategies and automation programs to their peers.

Reporting to the Marketing Automation Manager, the individual will support with the day-to-day management in optimizing our marketing automation platform and help marketing and sales colleagues to deliver effective communications to Advisers, Clients, and Customers.

Responsibilities:

Support the Marketing Automation Manager to manage and maintain the marketing automation platform, including:

Deliver training to new users of the marketing automation platform.

Configure campaigns, email templates, forms, and landing pages.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the platform.

Ensure integration with wider platforms is optimal, including CRM, analytics, CMS, and other systems.

Support the development of lead generation and lead nurturing strategies, including building segmentation profiles to create personalised email sequences mapped to behaviours and interests.

Support the marketing, sales, and internal communications teams with executing campaigns, including email marketing and drip campaigns.

Ongoing review of insights and analytics to help identify gaps and areas for improvement in email marketing campaigns.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

At least 2 years of working with marketing automation platforms (such as Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, Pardot).

Strong understanding of data management, governance, and verification frameworks, including consent and preference management.

Ideally some technical knowledge, including process mapping and an understanding of CRM integrations.

Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for email template and landing page customisation.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

Proficient in email marketing and lead nurturing strategies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
