Salary: Up to £57,000 - Dependant on experience

We're working with an award-winning engineering organisation, who are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who will contribute to the development of current and future seeker systems.
The Embedded Software Engineer role
This is a hands-on role and will involve architecting, designing, implementing and testing aerospace systems.
This ever-evolving team powers the business across Europe and brings the next generation of defence solutions to life. Together we experiment, innovate and create across the full product lifecycle. In a collaborative and close-knit culture, we support each other to search for better!
You will be responsible for delivering the on-board software for the next generation of these aerospace systems.
Embedded Software Engineer experience required
Focussed on embedded software development for Real Time systems:
Experience of developing bare-metal embedded software using C/C++. Experience in model-based development, using UML or using tools such as IBM's Rhapsody. Focus on code quality and the ability to engage in code and design reviews. Development of maintainable and extensible code (to adapt to change in requirements etc.) Able to communicate and collaborate with multiple customers, eg Systems Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Test & Validation.
Desirable, but not essential: Experience of the definition and verification of algorithms in a model-based environment (SCADE). DO178C knowledge.
