Degree qualified Embedded Software Engineer with proficiency in Embedded C programming and practical experience in developing software in the UEFI BIOS, will join a leading provider of Embedded Computing Products.

This established Company with headquarters in the UK and offices in the US designs and manufactures a range of embedded products for use in extreme environments, utilized globally in the Aerospace, Defence, Medical, and Industrial sectors.

The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will possess the following: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar. Proven commercial Embedded C Programming experience for x86, PowerPC, or high-performance ARM processors. Extensive experience with developing software in the UEFI BIOS. Experience programming a variety of hardware devices at the register level. Development of low-level embedded software for Linux or similar operating systems.

The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of the BIOS BSPs, including Middleware, system and device driver software for Linux, Windows, and VxWorks; testing software and supporting the definition of product and software architecture, as well as taking a hands-on approach to early hardware bring-up.
