3-month contract for an Embedded Systems Engineer with experience in either Ansys SCADE or LDRA Analysis and Verification suite (ideally both) for safety-critical or regulated industries.

Start Date: Immediate or early March Duration: 3 months (likely extension) Location: Remote with initial week in Bristol Security Clearance: BPSS/baseline clearance to be obtained.

Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

A degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Demonstrable experience delivering embedded control and/or software projects in a safety-critical or regulated environment. A proven track record of developing systems from concept to realisation. Working knowledge of either: Ansys SCADE for embedded software development, or LDRA Analysis and Verification tool suite.

Desirable Skills

It would be advantageous if you also have experience in: Requirements and/or test-driven design approaches. Model-Based Design (MBD) or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Developing novel embedded systems, robotics, or real-time control applications. Industry standards such as IEC 61508 or equivalents. Assessing system operational vulnerabilities.
