Handle are currently working with a global media and entertainment giant, who are looking for an Interim EMEA Payroll Manager. The successful candidate will manage EMEA payroll for multiple countries outside the UK, overseeing a team of 5-6 analysts whilst collaborating with diverse stakeholders. You will also lead payroll projects to implement best practices and system solutions while providing direct management and development for team members. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EMEA Payroll Manager to work for such a prestigious and popular brand! Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory reporting, and audit support across various EMEA countries, excluding the UK. Monitor the regional payroll vendor's processing to ensure it meets or exceeds established SLAs, control measures, and compliance requirements. Manage and develop direct reports to strengthen payroll operations and support succession planning. Monitor and ensure payroll compliance with audit controls and procedures. Troubleshoot high-level SAP issues, such as GL posting discrepancies. Build strong relationships between third-party payroll providers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Key Qualifications

In-depth understanding of payroll practices, regulations, and taxes across multiple EMEA countries. Payroll management certification or equivalent qualification. Extensive experience in payroll, preferably in a leadership role within a large multinational organisation. Experience managing expenses, benefits, and perquisites, including their associated tax treatments. Previous payroll experience in the retail or entertainment industry is a plus.
