Registered with the Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Registered Paramedic (HCPC). Recognised Nurse Practitioner Qualification or Paramedic Care Practitioner course which must include minor injuries. Proven history of working in an A&E department or equivalent setting and performing the role of a Nurse/Care Practitioner, with the ability to work as a responsible autonomous practitioner in minor injuries. Main duties of the job

The ability to work autonomously, to meet the individual needs of clients from the age of 1 year, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. Demonstrates expert clinical skills. Has a caring and professional approach to patients and colleagues. Ability to organise the swift flow of patients through the unit safely & effectively. Experience of working under Patient Group Directions (PGDs) for the supply of medications. About us

Registered Nurse or Paramedic Autonomous Training A33 or equivalent Minor Injury University Post Graduate Course Extensive Post Registration experience Good knowledge of the Musculoskeletal system Experience with reading x-ray imaging. Desirable

Independent Non-medical prescriber Evidence of further x-ray training e.g. Red Dot Course Experience in an Emergency department, UTC, MIU Employer details
