As an Employability Trainer, you will play a crucial role in empowering our students to develop the skills and confidence necessary to excel in the workplace. You will have the opportunity to work both on-site and offsite within the community, fostering valuable connections with our referral partners. Main Duties

Co-ordinate employability skills programme delivery for a rolling caseload of students in a wide range of sector specific programmes such as Business Administration, Customer Service, Hospitality, Adult Social Care, Digital Skills etc. Provide recruitment and selection support to build your caseload of students. Provide both academic and pastoral support to students, working with them to raise their ambition and aspiration, ensuring they realise their full potential. Undertake all aspects of student assessment including initial assessments, internal verification and liaison with external verifiers and awarding bodies as required. Comply with the college’s maths and English strategy, maintaining your ability to embed both subjects into your teaching practice. Work with colleagues responsible for student services to deliver an overall student experience, which engages, inspires and prepares students for the world of work. Work with the Team Leader and Quality to continually strive for excellence and improve standards. Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for employer engagement in the learning process. Personal Specification

Maths and English qualifications to GCSE Grade C or equivalent or ability to achieve. Previous experience of working within the Employability sector. Experience of training others in non-traditional teaching environments. A1 Assessors Award/PTLLS or similar qualifications are desired but not essential.
