Adult Education Tutor

to deliver accredited vocational qualifications, Functional Skills, Employability qualifications, and Essential Digital Skills to support learners in reaching their full potential. Based in Worcestershire, you’ll be working in a classroom environment with a strong focus on learner success. This is a full-time, permanent role. These courses are not assessed which means NO MARKING! Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons that inspire learners, ensuring high-quality provision across multiple ability levels (Entry 1 – Level 2) Perform initial and diagnostic assessments to create tailored learning plans and set clear, achievable objectives for your learners Continuously assess learner progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure optimal outcomes Provide guidance on progression opportunities and help learners transition smoothly into employment or further education Develop creative, motivational teaching materials tailored to learner needs, ensuring the delivery meets both academic and funding criteria Maintain comprehensive records, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality procedures and funding documentation requirements Collaborate closely with local employers and stakeholders to support learner success and progression Experience and Qualification required: A teaching qualification level 2 (CTLLS, PTLLS, AET, PGCE etc.) Maths and English at GCSE C/Grade 4 or Functional Skills Level 2 Previous experience delivering Functional Skills and vocational training Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse group of learners and track their progress Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire learners from all backgrounds IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint).
