Carry a significant caseload and support managers and the team with all types of complex and highly complex ER casework, including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, sickness absence, performance management and MHPS cases, including supporting managers in the preparation of cases at all stages of the procedure as needed. In conjunction with the HR Business Partners, advise and support managers and ER colleagues in organisational change, ensuring the formal consultation with staff representatives and staff is carried out effectively and within agreed timescales. Providing managers and the team with advice and guidance on all aspects of Employee Relations, policies, procedures and good practice. Coaching and development of individual line managers across the organisation enabling them to increase their competency in dealing with Employee Relations issues, ensuring appropriate consistency across the Trust and protecting the Trust from the risk of litigation. Regularly research best practice in relation to policy and procedure updates. To attend formal proceedings in complex disciplinary, grievance, capability cases, in both the capacity of presenting and hearing of cases.
